As the title indicates I have some random ideas bouncing between the ears. First, I read some interesting information about hillary. Polling is indicating that Hillary is polling at 48% aganist rudi. Why' s that interesting jackson? - reason - she is polling at 48% aganist Ron Paul, meaning it doesnt matter who was running aganist Hillary, she wasn't taking any votes from any republicans. There are loyal Hillary supporters, but she is nobodys second choice. Also the same polling indicates that although 18% of republican women are going to vote for her, 20% of dem males, will not. Very interesting, I have repeatedly commented that the only way the Republicans can win this election, is if the dems are foolish enough to nominate Hillary. Even the most disenfranchised republican who stayed away in 06, to punish the party, will come runnning to vote, early and often (just kidding) to defeat the evil empresses.
Mike Huckabee is the best candiate for the Republican Party. And recently the other candiates have started to notice. The negative attacks are really coming now, WSJ, mitt, etc. I'm a firm believer that you don't waste your time slinging mud aganist a second tier candiate. You only send your hencemen out to attack the people you fear. Folks don't look now, but people are starting to fear Mike. I still firmly believe that he will win the iowa republican caucus on jan 3.
An early jan dem caucus will kill obama. I strongly believe the highest percentage of Obama supporters in the state are firmly concentrated in ames and iowa city. Too bad, that obama didnt learn from Lamar Alexander. (i proudly was wearng a plaid shirt back in the day) No matter how many supporters were showing up in early december, the students just weren't on campus during winter break, and as a result, despite the fact students packed olmsted hall at drake to watch Lamar in late nov/early dec and cheer him on, I was only 1 of 8 students that showed up for the Caucus. Unless obama is funneling some of Oprah's money to put kids up in hotel rooms across the state, Hillary will win 35%.

How's this for polling. Earlier this month a poll showed Hillary has turned the tide on the GOP's top contender Rudy Giuliani911 and now leads in the key battleground states. So continue to rely on national polls pitting Ron Paul against Hillary. I'll keep my eye on Ohio, Michigan, and Pennsylvania
